Effective electric fencing that provides information
The detection system uses discreet electric fencing on both fences and gates. Should an intruder try to gain access, they receive a deterrent shock without an alarm being sent to the emergency room or monitoring point. If continued attempts are made despite this, or the wire is cut, then an alarm signal is relayed. The exceptional quality and performance of the installation means a low or zero occurrence of false alarms.
What is required for installation?
The system has been designed for ease of installation and use. Special span insulators keep the high quality twisted steel wires taut so that they always function effectively. Using Z10 disturbance sensors, plus Z20 tension sensors to detect interference with cables if required, the fence is permanently monitored for both voltage changes and intruder discovery. What’s more, Betafence detection technologies meet European standard IEC/EN 60335-2-76.
What about monitoring?
One outstanding aspect of the Secura® Pulse control system is its flexibility. Command Center software, for example, works with a networked controller to monitor the fence and all related devices. This method can be easily operated from a PC, keypad or cell phone with online access. Non-networked systems can be operated via keypad. It has been designed for easy integration with many applications such as VMS and PSIM platforms. Plus, it can be integrated with your current alarm panel, adding to the ease and cost-effectiveness of installation.
